The case review process will be explained for new members. Returning members will have an opportunity to discuss questions/concerns with the case review process and ways to improve.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>INTRODUCTION - CASE REVIEW PROCESS</strong></p><ul><li>Case of the Week was started in April of 2021 and has continued to grow over the years</li><li class="ql-indent-1"><a href="https://www.aocr.org/resource/resmgr/case_of_the_week/caseofweek5/Social_Media_Statistics_2026.pdf" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">View social media stats</a></li><li>Maintain and oversee a format for collecting and posting interesting cases to social media platforms</li><li class="ql-indent-1"><a href="https://www.aocr.org/general/custom.asp?page=caseoftheweeksubmitinfo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">View case submission information here</a></li><li>Review all case submissions and determine if acceptable for posting to social media</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Submissions received will be forwarded to committee members for review, based on their area of expertise</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Reviewers should respond within 14 days with feedback to be provided to case author or approval</li><li class="ql-indent-1">The <a href="https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/COWGradeSheet" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Grading Sheet</a> should be filled out with each case approval at the time of approval</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>INTRODUCTION - OTHER COMMITTEE RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Assist in promoting/sharing content posted to AOCR social media platforms; including, but not limited to, case of the week posts, advertising upcoming AOCR CME events, sharing highlights of lectures and slides during CME meetings</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>COMMITTEE DIRECTIVES</strong></p><ul><li>Returning committee members feedback on review process.areas identified for improvement</li><li>Review the <a href="https://www.aocr.org/general/custom.asp?page=caseoftheweeksubmitinfo" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">submission criteria</a> webpage to see if there is room for improvement</li><li>Select top 3 cases from 2026 posted Cases of the Week</li><li class="ql-indent-1">We will utilize the scores collected through the grading sheet and then go from there to identify the winners</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>ACTION ITEMS</strong></p><ul><li><strong>All </strong>Committee Members - Click here to indicate your area(s) of expertise.
